"I thank God, whom I serve (worship) with a pure conscience... (2 Tim 1:3)
Maintaining a pure conscience is of paramount importance in our service or worship to God. God, who searches hearts and intents, is not interested in "rituals" without active involvement of our heart and mind. If we remove "conscience" from service or worship to God, what is left is "rituals" as we find in the so-called professing christendom. How can we have a pure conscience? We will look at that aspect tomorrow (God willing). [Benn]
